Our shop sits on Shelbyville Road in Franklin Township, so our trucks start the day on the southeast side of Marion County. That’s where most of our Indianapolis work happens: Franklin Township, Beech Grove, Southport, and the neighborhoods between I-65 and I-74. Indianapolis gets real winters and humid summers, so most homes here run on two systems: a gas furnace for heat and a central air conditioner for cooling. When one of them fails, the right answer isn’t always a like-for-like replacement. Yes. Brewer Heating & Cooling has technicians on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. An after-hours fee may apply, but Care-Free Comfort Plan members pay no after-hours opening fee. If you smell gas, leave your home first and call 911 or Citizens Energy Group from outside.
Yes. Brewer Heating & Cooling is a family-owned Indianapolis company founded in 2001. Our technicians work without sales quotas, so repair and replacement recommendations are based on the condition of your system.
Replacement usually makes sense when a furnace is past 15–20 years old, an air conditioner is past 10–15 years old, or one repair would cost a large share of a new system’s price. A system that runs on R-22 refrigerant is another strong signal, because R-22 is no longer produced. Brewer’s technicians work without sales quotas, so the recommendation is based on your system’s condition, not a sales target.
